Angel-Hair Wings

A poem for Mary Jane

Angel-Hair Wings

She flitters through my mind
on angel-hair wings;
a bright star in the dark heavens.

Her voice and her scent intoxicate me
like the strongest of wines,
an addicting drug
that I never wish to stop injecting.

Her mouth and her neckline,
her hips and her shapely figure;
these things only add to my
perfect infatuation.

She flitters through my mind
on angel-hair wings;
a bright star in the dark heavens.
